The Savant Elite2 family of programmable USB devices is available in configurations supporting up to four switches. These switches can be used to reduce the strain on the fingers by offloading repetitive actions such as mouse clicks or keyboard shortcuts to alternate means (either one or both feet, non-dominant hands, etc.). Programmed to function as modifier keys (such as Shift, Ctrl, or Alt) the switches can also help to maximize productivity by allowing the individual to continue typing without interruption and to access the modifiers near-simultaneously with the feet.
The Savant Elite2 Control Module from Kinesis Corporation is a programmable interface that can accept input from foot pedals, assistive switches, or hand triggers. It is ideal for situations where there may be a need to have multiple switches spread over an area or where there is a desire for the smallest possible pedal footprint beneath a workstation. The 9.6 foot long USB cable also permits the control module to be positioned at a distance from the computer.
Two models of the Savant Elite2 Control Module are available. One features 2 input jacks for attaching the external switches and is pre-programmed to perform left and right mouse clicks. The second model is equipped to accept up to 4 switches and/or pedals and is pre-programmed to perform the left and right clicks as well as Backspace and a "Thank you," macro. Of course, these can easily be reprogrammed to any specific actions.
The Savant Elite2 Control Module also has driverless programming for a wide range of operating systems, including Windows, Mac OS X, Android, Linux, or Chrome. Modules come preloaded with Windows and MAC versions of the SmartSet App, a visual programming interface to facilitate quick and simple programming in either of these environments. A simple text editor can be used to program for other alternative operating systems.

The KidTrac Switch Adapted trackball from Clearly Superior Technologies offers alternative clicking options available to users who may struggle with fine motor control. It features 3 jacks which permit the attachment of external control switches which can be placed where best suited to the needs of the individual user.
The bold bright colours—Yellow trackball with Red, Green and Blue buttons—is just a disguise for a highly functional trackball with capabilities suited to all ages. All of the basic features of the basic KidTrac—high density 2.5" diameter phenolic trackball for tactile feedback and smooth response, light touch buttons, safely secured trackball so missing trackballs or broken windows are not an issue, low profile housing, ambidextrous feature, 'Dynamic Acceleration', Drag Lock and Scroll Lock—are available on the Switch Adapted version.
The extra-large brightly coloured design serves to aid users with vision limitations in identifying button locations and functions. The low activation force and large dimensions of the buttons also mean that anyone with limited strength will be able to perform clicks as easily as any user.
Users who might prefer a more subtle appearance may wish to consider PC-Trac Switch Adapted or the high performance L-Trac Switch Adapted versions.

The Clevy SimplyWorks Wireless Keyboard from Pretorian combines the superior quality and durability of the Clevy Keyboard with the innovative SimplyWorks Wireless Interface from Pretorian. This keyboard features large 0.75" keycaps (30% larger than standard) with large bold white legends for ease of identification. The brightly coloured keycaps are colour-coded for easy identification of vowels, consonants, numbers, punctuation, and control keys making this keyboard ideal for the learning environment. Keys are arranged in an orthogonal grid which makes it easier for users to find and reach the keys. A switch on the underside can be employed to turn off Key Repeat for users who may rest their hands and fingers on the keys. This switch also offers access to the "Function Key" feature should that be required. A rigid keyboard overlay accessory is available to provide assistance for users with temporary or permanent motor skills difficulty.
To ensure the durability of the Clevy Keyboard it is built with an internal steel frame and is equipped with high-quality mechanical keyswitches rated for 50 million activations. In order to address the potential for spilled fluids the housing is also designed to guide the fluid straight through the keyboard, protecting the internal electronics.
The SimplyWorks Wireless functionality means that this keyboard can be combined with any combination of up to 5 other SimplyWorks equipped devices (Keyboards, Trackballs, Joysticks) to communicate with a single computer through a SimplyWorks Wireless RECEIVE. This capability and the 10 metre transmission range makes it an ideal solution for cooperative learning and interactive multi-user activities.

The L-Trac Switch Adapted from Clearly Superior Technologies features the high performance and robust build for which the original PC-Trac line is well-known. The L-Trac features an optical laser sensor which offers "button selectable" tracking resolutions of 400, 800 and 1600 CPI, easily changed on the fly. Combined with this is the ability of the L-Trac to track at speeds exceeding 30 inches per second, even at a 20G acceleration rate. The scroll wheel is smooth and readily accessible, located above the center button. Unique to the Switch Adapted version of the L-Trac is the availability of three jacks which support connection of external switches. Connecting an external switch deactivates the on-board switch for that function - a feature which can be of benefit when seeking to eliminate accidental button activation. This means that the click activations can be performed from alternate locations more advantageous to the user.
The L-Trac provides users with a precision, high performance pointing device. The large 57 mm diameter weighted trackball produces predictable, quick, and precise cursor control. Most users will find that movement becomes intuitive within a few minutes of use, with the level of control increasing over time.
The level of performance and range of features, coupled with the proven contour of the L-Trac makes these trackballs an appropriate option for all applications including general computing, gaming and Computer Aided Design (CAD). CAD users love it because you can drag a line one pixel even on high resolution displays. Then, with a button stroke, they can fly around the screen to get general tasks done. Gamers have called it an "almost unfair advantage", citing the fingertip control and precision, high performance tracking.
Designed to minimize the effects of contamination build up and the resultant degradation of performance, this high performance laser trackball uses highly polished stainless steel rollers. It has been found by CST that the "ruby ball sliders" used in most optical trackballs, cause performance degradation when gunk builds up on them. The L-Trac uses mirror polished stainless steel rollers that do not readily collect unwanted material and are easily cleared by spinning the ball rapidly. The Dupont Delrin bearings are embedded with Teflon and internally coated with a lifetime lubricant making the feel of this trackball extremely smooth and it's reliability very robust. The user-replaceable stainless steel rollers are extremely tough and designed to handle hard usage yet still provide users with controlled smooth movement.

The SmartNav4 from NaturalPoint provides users with a hands-free means of cursor control. The high resolution tracking system employs a reflective surface to monitor head movement which is then translated into corresponding cursor movement on the screen. The reflective marker can also be located on other extremities where the need exists or where it may be deemed more practical.
The SmartNav provides precise cursor control through simple head movement allowing the hands of the user to remain on their keyboard, or at their sides. Both models include a cable which support the attachment of either one or two external switches which can then perform Single or Right Click Functions in conjunction with the NaturalPoint software. The AT model provides the additional features of an on-screen keyboard and a "dwell-clicking" option (hover on a point for an adjustable length of time and the system will automatically generate a click).
The "zero force" requirements of the SmartNav and the limited range of movement required to accomplish cursor movement also make it well-suited for users with strength limitations and mobility restrictions.

The AirO2Bic Vertical Mouse is designed using the science of Biomechanics. The idea of the AirO2Bic is to immobilize your wrist and force you to use your upper arm muscles exclusively to move the mouse. To use this mouse properly you need a minimum of a 10" x 12" (25.4 cm x 30.5 cm) mousing area.
This product is available in both left and right handed models in both pearl (white) and onyx (black). The optional Nib software provides an auto-click feature, eliminating the need to 'click' the mouse, which is quite practical for web surfing and other non-cursor dependent tasks. The Nib software is $55 when purchased with this mouse and this bundle is called the Virtually Hands Free Mousing System. The Nib software is also available for $80 when purchased by itself.

The StealthSwitch3 Programmable USB Switch Controller from H-Mod provides users with a means of transferring or reducing the heavy workload which the hand and fingers encounter in daily computer use. Mouse clicks, keyboard shortcuts, and multi-key macros can be programmed and triggered by foot pedals or many other types of switches.
Other common applicatons of the StealthSwitch3 Programmable USB Switch Controller include a wide variety of gaming functions, photo booth triggers, transciption control, etc.
With the StealthSwitch3 Programmable USB Switch Controller multiple switches can be connected to a CPU through a single USB port. The StealthSwitch3 Programmable USB Switch Controller is truly universal, fully programmable, and easy-to-use with both the Windows (including Windows 8.1) and Mac OS-X platforms.
The StealthSwitch3 supports up to 5 external switches (available separately) , and the number of accessible commands can be can be raised to 8 by using Shift mode which uses one switch to enable the other switches to access an alternate set of commands. Switches can be programmed to send keystrokes, mouse clicks, double clicks, drag lock, hotkeys, or macros (maximum of 4 keystrokes per macro). The StealthSwitch3 is fully programmable using the downloadable drivers. Once it is programmed, all settings are stored in the switch interface hardware so no software or drivers are required, even if you move the unit to another computer. This is especially convenient where deployment is intended on limited access systems, as programming can do done by loading the software on another computer which is not subject to these restrictions. Multiple configuration files can be created and stored for later access. MAC users receive a bonus benefit from the RoboCon program which automatically re-configures the switch interface based on the current application, allowing the setting of application-specific command layouts. This controller may be used with any of the StealthSwitch II Slave Footswitches, or for other options check out our range of switches in the Switches category.

This product was designed to improve computer access where the user may have difficulties with a conventional trackball or mouse or prefer the ease of use of this product. Compared to a conventional mouse, this joystick requires very little energy to operate. Other mice or trackballs require lots of pushing to move the mouse around. The Roller Joystick just needs holding in the direction that you want the cursor to travel - and the computer does all the hard work.
