The Evoluent VerticalMouse C offers an alternative "imagining" of the Evoluent VerticalMouse 4, with a new profile and slight inward curve of the front half of the Evoluent VerticalMouse C which permits the fingers to curl more than on the VerticalMouse 4. The high gloss front contrasts with the black satin control surfaces, replacing the "rubberized" surfaces of earlier Evoluent models. Buttons on the Evoluent VerticalMouse C are integrated into the body of the mouse, unlike separation between "body" and "button" that is found on the VerticalMouse 4. In addition, the flange that supports the little finger is no longer part of the Right Click button, it is now larger and molded into the body of the mouse. The Evoluent VerticalMouse C is equipped with a high-performance four-level sensor. The pointer speed can be easily cycled from slowest to fastest using the small button located just behind the scroll wheel. LEDs on the shoulder of the mouse indicate the current setting. The Evoluent VerticalMouse C is suitable for right handed users with hands that are at least 7" long from wrist crease to the tip of middle finger. In addition, the new design with longer buttons offers noticeably better support for those with longer fingers than the VerticalMouse 4. The Evoluent VerticalMouse C is also available in a Wireless (VMCRW) version.

The VerticalMouse 3 introduced user-adjustable resolution, accessible using a button and indicator light on the underside of the mouse. This made adjusting pointer speed easier and further improved tracking. The adjustment and indicator have been moved to the side and top of the mouse in sucessive models to facilate easier adjustment.
Although the VerticalMouse 3 is now discontinued it has been replaced by the VerticalMouse 4 and VerticalMouse D, both of which offer the same vertical orientation but now with improved ergonomic contours, multiple sizes, and expanded features.

The Switch Mouse integrates two major innovations - a V-shaped base, which puts the wrist and forearm into a slightly more natural pronation for left or right-handed users, and the Extender feature which allow the mouse to 'stretch' to provide some adjustment to the length (but not the width) of the mouse. Other features include a built-in palm support to prevent contact stress on the wrist, four-way scrolling dish, and programmable buttons (requires installation of PC drivers) for user-specified functions. This mouse has a 1600 DPI laser sensor and comes only in a corded model (cord is 2 m in length).
