As a result, the NOSTND Sit-Stand Comfort Seat helps to reduce the risk of overreach injuries to the muscles of the shoulders and back, and the risk of injury to the muscles of the sides and mid-section caused by sitting sideways along the base of the workstation and twisting at the waist to get close enough to its surface. By supporting the majority of the user's weight on the seat, the NOSTND also helps to reduce the load generally borne by the feet and legs. Overall fatigue, and the risk of strain on the joints and tissues of the lower limbs can be greatly reduced.

Both the saddle style seat and the large back feature 3" cushioning; and both are height adjustable. The height of the seat can be adjusted between 23.25 and 28.75". The height adjustment range of the back is determined by the seat position. A handle and large rollers on the back glides enable the NOSTND to be easily moved as required. The NOSTND dual rectangular steel tube base is rated to support up to 440 pounds.

The saddle stool design also creates a wider stance for the user, providing a secure seated position that offers relief to the joints of the legs and feet. As with the Mogo there is no fixed base to force the user to remain facing a specific direction - rotating or pivoting to another direction can be done at will. The bowl-shaped weighted base of the Pivot Seat also exerts a subtle force, encouraging a user to maintain a degree of active tension in the core muscles to maintain the desired optimum position. This also means that users who wish to be active while sitting can easily employ the range of movement the Pivot offers to achieve this goal. The wide range of height adjustment and the ability to angle the seat by tilting forward enables the user to easily choose between active sitting and leaning (or any posture between).

The thick EVA Foam cushion on the Pivot Seat features built-in sitz bone contours for support and a waterfall edge to reduce pressure on the upper legs and promote healthy circulation.

NOTE: ErgoCanada does not recommend the Pivot Seat for use on hardsurface floors such as hardwood, linoleum or tile. Users may find that the base "walks" away from them as they lean and move. It does not have any issues on any type of carpeted floor or mat.

The Salli Job is a task stool designed with the needs of the manufacturing or service sectors in mind. As with other Salli models, the design of the seat is intended to promote a more upright posture and correct positioning of the spine by tilting the pelvis forward. The shape of the seat follows the basic concept of the Salli Split Saddle Seats but in a single anatomically-moulded piece. The groove which provides separation between the two halves of the seat provides pressure relief for the tailbone and genitals and also aids in cooling by facilitating better air flow. The seat itself is a 'self-skinned' polyurethane foam which enables it to easily be wiped down or washed with a wide variety of cleaning or disinfection agents. Height adjustment of the gas spring lift is accomplished through a standard hand-controlled height adjustment lever. The Salli Job comes with a basic black nylon 5-star base and a black Medium Cylinder which is designed to accommodate users from 5'1" - 6'1". Low (Short - 4' - 5'2") and Tall (5'8" and over) cylinders are also available.

Important:The moulded polyurethane seat on the Salli Job is significantly firmer than other upholstered Salli Saddle Chairs. Due to the overall firmness most users may find that this seat is better suited to intermittent or short-term use.

Some ideal uses for this chair would be: Assembly Lines, Hair Dressers, Cashier Stations, Factory Floors, and Lab settings. The durability of the seat and its ability to be easily cleaned are key features which make it especially suitable to these applications.
